This four-volume set is a chronological presentation of the complete negotiating history of most articles of the 1977 "Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and Relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol 1)" from the original 1973 ICRC draft provision to the final approved 1977 article, through all four sessions of the Diplomatic Conference.
