As the growth of wireless communications continues, bandwidth allocation requires that restrictions be set. The objective of this thesis is to produce a model and simulation of a drone-to-ground propagation channel for 5G operations. As 5G becomes available to customers, the millimeter-wave (mmW) spectrum demands investigation into new radio wavebands be explored, and its channel models are produced.Beginning with 28 GHz to 120 GHz center frequency, the measurements of the propagation attenuation and phase shifts of a drone-to-ground channel(s) are acquired from previous project and used to generate a statistical channel model. Using this information, along with published literature, a computer simulation model by way of MATLAB will be developed. Finally, the achievable performance of typical modulation schemes, for instance, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) on the developed channel model, will be conducted analytically and by computer simulation.
