Author Description

This DVD contains six programmes, two on each faith, exploring Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism. The aim is to help pupils aged 7-11 understand what it means to belong to a particular faith and how that faith affects family life and community worship. Each programme contains a mixture of personal stories, film of worship and special celebrations, historical background and songs. The accompanying teacher's book, written by Lynne Broadbent, contains background information as well as 18 photocopiable activity sheets and links to 15 photocards which are also included.
