Scandal has come to Sanditon and the Darcys, Fitzwilliams and Heywoods have to face the crisis. Yet that is not the only conflict on the rise, but the fortune of some characters who there was hope for are now facing tragedy, their dreams being torn asunder. Charlotte, Eliza, and Marianne, three of the Heywood sisters, find their lives constantly falling in between states of joy and then disappointment. Yet there is a glimmer of hope somewhere-for there must be...and belief that they shall find the answer when all doors still are closed. Anne De Bourgh, still not ready to return to Rosing's, joins Maria Lucas in visiting Pemberly, and in her thirst for self discovery, her character develops and her life takes a surprising turn. Mr. Madison, Sidney Parker and Mr. Gray are three men who had desired to lose themselves in Sanditon, but found something even greater and more complex along the way. In observing all of this, Jane Austen prepares to produce her grand masterpiece.
