This set brings together for the first time British Political Party General Election Manifestos of the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Parties, dating back to 1900, including the most recent General Election manifestos of 1997. The project provides an indispensible source of data about contrasting political ideologies and policy positions as well as charting their changes over time. In addition to the new introductions to each volume, there will be a comprehensive index, making the volumes easier to use.
