Author Description

This book is a collection of Daniel Nie's representative new artworks. The artist used computer programs as a tool to transform, mix and blend his original paintings with photographs to create a new style which is a departure from his former works. Some images collected in this book reflect this new style, which is reminiscent of the oriental flavor of Japanese woodblock prints and the nostalgia of old-fashioned silkscreen posters.
