This book seeks to dispel any doubts women may have about their equality and rights, empowering them to reclaim their rightful place in society. It also aims to help men better understand and change their perspective, moving away from the notion of female subservience.The journey towards equality is long and arduous, but it must start somewhere. Both women and men within the Ummah must work together to eliminate gender-based discrimination and promote justice. Historically, Islam has liberated and elevated women's status, granting them rights that were revolutionary over 1,400 years ago.Despite this, men often overrule women in legal matters and decisions related to marriage and reproduction. Additionally, some women may feel pressured to conform to expectations of unquestioning obedience to their husbands, mistakenly believing this to be a religious obligation.This book addresses numerous misconceptions about women's roles in Islam, aiming to clarify these issues. It emphasises the need to adapt traditional gender roles to contemporary contexts.
