Author Description

The story of some Catalan exiles who, despite the danger involved, decided to stay in Paris on the 14th. June 1940, the fateful day when the troops of the Third Reich entered the French capital. Among them, the poster artists Carles Fontseré i Martí Bas, the painter Clavé, the Catalan writer and politician Rafael Tasis, the art critic Sebastià Gasch, and our fiction protagonist the satirist Quim Moix. The Nazi occupation lasted four years.
