Author Description

The Batta have lived within the eye of the Great Storm for over forty years, trudging through the ruins of their once-lush planet. They live on the blood and meat of their herd of animals, and pull precious moisture from the air. Their culture survives for one reason -- the stubborn hope that the Gods of Batta Klin will one day allow them to return to the paradise they once called home. A new leader emerges who promises a path forward, a way out of perpetual pain, but the Batta will soon realize that Salvation comes with a very heavy cost.
