The book's rich imagery and psychological awareness make it delightful reading for the young-at-heart, as well as the young adult. It tells the story of a teen who discovers a mysterious carnival in a forest in Foxborough, Massachusetts. This adventure ends up transforming her own life and the lives of many others in the town.
