Aimed at policy makers and politicians, this work focuses on a live political issue: public-private relations in health care. It shows that the NHS and private sectors are already interdependent in a number of areas and that there is a pressing need to review the extent to which these relationships operate in the interests of patients, and promote equity and other key policy goals.
