A quirky photo album of treasures found in the mud of the Chehalis River. In England, they call it mudlarking. As Marcy Merrill is not located in England, she refers to her pursuit as "mudlerking". Merrill turns to treasures that have been lost or discarded in the river in her quest to find out what it takes to build a town. (Spoiler alert: It takes A LOT of liquor.)
