
For The Musicians Of The Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra (gio), A Large Improvising Ensemble Based In Glasgow, Uk, The Social Isolation Measures Implemented During The Covid-19 Pandemic Of 2020 Posed Challenges To Musicians' Livelihoods But Also Led To A Form Of Creative Constraint. This Constraint Inspired And Facilitated New Ways Of Collaborating Artistically. This Chapter Examines Those Emerging Practices As They Manifest In A Particular Type Of Online Musical Activity.
