Author Description

Uses the case of Greenland to identify some of the most essential variables in northern development and to discuss them in terms of general and universal relevance. Four major elements are considered: modernization, the modified southern model, centralization versus decentralization, and an assumed stated objective of equality as it relates to native groups.
