This book has dealt with river morphometric and morphological characteristics of Dwarka river basin and analyzed how these are linked with causes and consequences of flood. Spatial dynamism of flood over time, temporal trend of flood etc. have analyzed using some effective statistical techniques. This book has also devoted to explain ecological justification of settlement encroachment and agricultural invasion within flood plain. Effect of dam on river has illustrated in terms of pre dam and post dam condition and upstream and downstream of Dwarka river.
