The study was carried out to understand the physical setup of Bankura district, West Bengal, India and at the same time to find out the present natural resources in this study area. This study is very much useful for the management of present natural resources in future. The available natural resources are natural vegetation, land with good quality of soils, minerals, adequate animal resources, surface and ground water as well.
