Presents and studies letters exchanged between Mexican poet (1939-2014) who was daughter of Octavio Paz and Elena Garro, and German writer (1895-1998) who she befriended. Authors' twofold intent is to reveal underappreciated talents of Helena Paz as writer, and to offer psychological portrayal of woman who suffered from lifelong depression and emotional fragility. Includes numerous facsimiles of handwritten letters as well as watercolor and ink illustrations by Junger (who was also entomologist).
