The series of works includes portraits of historical and prominent characters relating to the themes and subjects Fredrik Söderberg has explored over recent years. The publication includes works from 2019-2021 and an in-depth essay by Per Faxneld, Associate Professor at Södertörn University. With the use of watercolours, mineral colours and gold leaf, Fredrik Söderberg creates an imaginative world, always searching for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind human behaviour and its implications in a historical context.
