4 सितंबर, 1975 को दिल्ली में जन्मे ऋषि राज भारत सरकार के परिवहन क्षेत्र से जुड़े सार्वजनिक उपक्रम में संयुक्त महाप्रबंधक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। सन् 1994 में भारतीय रेल की सेवा में नियुक्ति से भारत भ्रमण की शुरुआत हुई। अभी तक देश के 36 में से 34 राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में भ्रमण कर चुके हैं। वैश्विक तौर पर एशिया एवं यूरोप के कुल सात देश घूम चुके हैं। सन् 2012 में कैलाश मानसरोवर की यात्रा के अनुभवों पर पहली पुस्तक ‘कैलाश दर्शन: कुछ यादें, कुछ बातें’ से लेखन शुरू किया। इस पुस्तक को भारत सरकार के पर्यटन मंत्रालय ने ‘राहुल सांकृत्यायन पुरस्कार’ से सम्मानित किया। सन् 2015 में पुस्तक ‘अतुल्य भारत की खोज’ और सन् 2017 में ‘देशभक्ति के पावन तीर्थ’ की रचना की। सन् 2018 में इसका अंग्रेजी संस्करण ‘Patriotic Pilgrimage of India’ आया। सन्ï 2019 में ‘एक भारतीय की जापान यात्रा’ प्रकाशित हुई, जो इनकी जापान भ्रमण पर आधारित है। अभी तक देशभक्ति व पर्यटन स्थलों से जुड़े करीब 80 वीडियो का भी निर्माण कर चुके हैं, जो इनके यू-ट्यूब चैनल Exploring India with Rishi पर उपलब्ध हैं। Kargil: Ek Yatri Ki Zubani by Rishi Raj: "Kargil: Ek Yatri Ki Zubani" is a book authored by Rishi Raj.
