The Art of Engineering presents leading civil engineers, highly specialized providers of construction services and innovative contractors to all German-speaking countries (Germany/Austria/Switzerland), their offices and their innovative projects in classical architectural sectors, such as buildings, bridges, industrial construction, high-building, as well as renovation, foundation and tunnelling, implemented in those named countries and around the world. Additionally, the editor's essay focuses on the latest challenges and issues in regard to the current level of technology and practices. It can certainly be a basis for successful collaboration between engineers and architects or even used as a reference report for innovative architecture offices in neighbouring European countries. It is designed to be a biennial publication.
