A rudimentary definition of a disciple is a follower or adherent of a teacher – and in the ancient biblical world a disciple would actively imitate both the life and the teachings of the teacher. In what is known today as the Great Commission of the church, when Jesus was asking His followers to, “Go and make disciples of all nations”, He was asking His disciples, “to go and ‘actively imitate both the life and the teaching’ that I have shared with you, to others.” With that in mind, it appears the Christian’s assignment today is to aggressively and persuasively share with others what Jesus taught, through His life, and through His words; which includes His character, His attributes, His qualities, and His teachings; which we have experientially personally acquired from Him. This book captures over 50 traits of Jesus, and all of His teachings recorded in the Bible.
