Shifter's fifteenth issue, titled Will, begins with an introduction by Sreshta Rit Premnath in which the concept of will is determined to be the potential energy behind all action, citing a night of drinking as the conscious inducement of free-spirited action, and poverty, landlessness, and persecution as the latent drive towards civil rebellion. Abhishek Hazra interviews Sreshta Rit Premnath about the past fifteen issues of Shifter, and the two discuss the periodical's themes, selection process, and ever changing voice. Additionally, Jean-Marc Superville Sovak investigates the re-appropriation of the word "nigger" into "nigga", naming this linguistic détournement as the will to reclaim or overcome trauma. Edited by Avi Alpert and Sreshta Rit Premnath.
