Wuxing is the name of the traditional philosophy that explains a wide range of cosmic phenomena including astrology and the horoscopes that influence human behaviour. Chinese astrology incorporates twelve animal symbols and five elements, giving a total of sixty personality types. This is a collection of poems that covers every possible animal-element combination in the system. They are poems in a wide range of styles: humorous and playful, thoughtful, witty, even profound.
