
A detailed study on the architecture and the life of British engineer and architect Reed who left an extraordinary legacy of neoclassic architecture in Colombia and in other regions of Latin America. Reed designed and constructed the Capitolio Nacional and the Museo Nacional in Colombia along other public buildings, theaters as well as other constructions in Ecuador and Venezuela between 1843 and 1878.
