This is collection of renaissance music, edited and arranged by The Guitarist, for your enjoyment. The text is small and we have utilized every way we can think of to reduce page turns and make this a book that is easy to navigate for performance practice. More importantly what's within is an attempt to present the latest in techniques, fingerings and concepts to make the music more readily accessible. This music was originally published before standard notation (sheet music) was in common use, thus you'll find that the pieces make more sense when approached as though they were tablature, which typically has no fixed time signature. Most of this music makes more sense with a greater latitude of rhythmic freedom than to try to fit it into our modern conceptualization of rhythm.
