An unprecedented visual and theoretical approach, marked by conceptual originality, on the production of whom is considered one of the main exponents of contemporary architecture of Brazil. With an editorial project coordinated by the journalist specialized in architecture and urbanism Bianca Antunes, the volume tries to emphasize the social function present in the work of Ruy Ohtake - an aspect hitherto little explored in the analyzes made on the architect's production. The original character of the proposal lies in the way in which the public presents, during the pages of the book, an in-depth look at the social character of certain architect's projects, among which his actions in the community in Heliopolis in São Paulo.
