Some 60 contributions based on presentations at the July 1995 meeting discuss the general themes of molecular analysis of, anatomy, and biochemistry of the neurohypophyseal system; transcription and secretion of these hormones; neurohypophyseal control of adaptation; structure and function of neurohypophyseal hormone receptors, water channel, and urine concentration mechanisms; receptor antagonists of neurohypophyseal hormones, and clinical aspects of these problems.
