In Critical Demand: Social Work in Canada Volume 1 - Final Report (2000) is a social work sector study that was the result of a partnership of academic, professional and service sector organizations. The Sector Study used current literature, labour market analysis, surveys and interviews to explore issues and demographics within the social services sector including but not exclusive to the demand for social services, the profile of human resources in the social services sector, employment projections, working conditions within social services and education and training in social services.
