Nanotechnology has been an extremely hot topic over the last decade. It is an interdisciplinary research field involving chemistry, physics, biology, engineering and medicine. Nanotechnology is the act of manipulating matter at the atomic scale which is the understanding and control of matter and devices in the dimensions between 1 to 100 nanometers. This special volume titled " Recent Trend in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology" is devoted to recent advances in the field of nanoscience research.
