About the Author Guek-Cheng Pang was born in Singapore into a large Peranakan (Straits-born Chinese) family. Guek-Cheng has travelled widely and believes in travelling as a mind-broadening experience. She lived in England for a year, and is now a permanent resident of British Columbia, Canada, together with her husband and two children.
