One of the most striking and beautiful periodicals on newsstands today, Harper's Bazaar, was relaunched last winter under Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey and Creative Director Stephen Gan. A stunning series of art and prose from the magazine is collected here in an exquisite calendar. Each month, Just Like a Woman featured original works by great artists and writers, capturing the essence of woman. Artists including Tina Barney, Tracey Emin, Nan Goldin, Alex Katz, Tracey Moffatt, Mariko Mori, John Wesley, Sam Taylor-Wood, Richard Phillips, Kiki Smith, and Lisa Yuskavage each contributed an image of a woman that conveys notions of femininity. And in response, such renowned writers as Ann Beattie, Jennifer Egan, Nora Ephron, Helen Fielding, Hanif Kureishi, Rick Moody, Neil LaBute, and Jane Smiley each composed an original piece of writing.
