
The authors investigate the situation of the Národní galerie (National Gallery) in Prague during the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. They focus in particular on the figure of Josefa Cibulka (1886-1968), renowned Czech historian and archeologist, professor, scholar, and Catholic priest who was appointed director of the Gallery during this period.
