Health Policy Grantmaking: A Report on Foundation Trends explores broad trends in grantmaker support for health policy-related activities during the 1990's, a period of dramatic growth in health policy funding. This report investigates health policy's share of all giving for health: presents areas of growth in health policy funding; spotlights emerging topics in the field; and identifies leading grantmakers by amount of funding and programmatic interests. As part of its analysis of foundation funding in 1990 and 1995. Health Policy Grantmaking also examines policy-related giving for named population groups, such as children and the disabled: explores shifts in funding among leading grantsmakers; and presents profiles of more than 15 leading national and state-level funders active in the field.
