The poetry and fiction of Lee (also written in English as Yi) Sang premieres in this first English collection translated by Myong-Hee Kim with original artwork by Janice Olson. Revered in current day Korea, Lee Sang (1910-1937) outraged Korean society during his brief life with experimental and iconoclastic poetry. His subject matter, which includes references to Al Capone and Jesus Christ, reaches across international boundaries and speaks to readers in America.
