Political cartoons are seen as mirror of social and political realities in Nigeria. Due to press censorship and autocratic leadership style in most African countries, media, especially newspapers and magazine find it suitable and safer to use cartoons to construct social and political realities in the polity at a given time. This book will provide additional insight on how issues and events are captured in the Nigerian polity at the most historic period of the Nigeria's political dispensation.
