Scaffold is one of the most important work in the construction industry. In China there have been a lot of casualty resulted from the collapses of scaffolds because of want of good management and governance system. Since 1990 the Chinese construction industry uses mainly steel pipes and connectors to build scaffolds in developed urban area but not many good technologies developed although the economy booms so quickly. As the human power employed in construction industry is getting increasingly old aged as not many young people are willing to work in the construction industry, which is recognized as poorly paid, dangerous, dirty working environment, the construction industry needs high strength steel pipes so that less steel can be used, and reduce the working intensity for so many construction workers, who are becoming increasingly old aged, especially those erecting and dismantling scaffolds in the construction sites all around the country.When the super high strength steel pipe is developed it finds its way into the construction industry in China naturally and it is our responsibility to compile a standard or manual so that the construction industry can benefit from such kind of good products. It can be used as a guidelines for construction industry to build strong and safe scaffold with the least cost and working intensity.But it is only a new beginning as we will release much better scaffold products and system very soon.
