
In late 2019, COVID-19 began to spread around the world, however, it wasn't until mid-2020 when the incredible number of cases forced businesses, schools, and public areas to close down. During this time, schools began to shift their classes from in person to online classes in an attempt to allow students to maintain their education. However, there are disproportionate abilities to learn and attend school from home when comparing households with higher income to lower income. The purpose of this article is to discuss the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on education disparity.
