This book clarifies what action planning is and how you can most effectively use your survey results to implement change within your organization. The stories, examples and models discussed in the following sections are based on our experiences with clients over the past 20 years. The stories and examples describe how successful organizations implemented action-planning processes and how they followed up on their survey results to improve business performance and to engage employees. In addition, we highlight how web-based technology is changing the way we address action planning from the collection of action plans to the updating and monitoring of best practices. The examples presented are all based on actual organizations and actual results. The names of the organizations have not been revealed to protect confidentiality.
