What I have managed to survive is even amazing to me. The details of my childhood can be read in my book, "I Can't Stop Now!" This Children's Book was born out of the experiences in that book. They are what drive me to alert parents to equip their children with the skills to avoid sexual abuse. My struggle has been a hard one but the fight has been worth it all if only one child is spared the pain of abuse. Unfortunately, many victims don't have such a happy ending and their lives have been ruined because of the selfish actions of others. Today I am the mother of 10 well-rounded children, for each of whom I wrote this book. Though a couple of them have been approached, I am elated and proud to say... the book worked, as none of them have ever become the victims of sexual violation. The buck stopped with me and my family has remained safe and emotionally healthy.
