
Far East Business Chinese II is a response to current global trends. Keeping with the times, it takes learning to the next level by provinding content which is more practical, more functional, more concrete and more centered on daily life; in additiona, it includes terminology found in financial and business cultures in order to augment language use in these areas. This consists of 3 volumes containing lessons for basic-intermediate to advanced-intermediate students. the first volum has 10 lessons with additional 2 lessons for review. The second and third volumes each have 10 lessons. In the first and second volumes, the student will learn 200 Chinese character and 500 vocabularys. The first volum has 10 lessons with additional 2 lessons for review. the second and third volumes each have 10 lessons. in the first and second volumes, the student will learn 250 new Chinese characters per volume, bringing their character, vocabulary up to 750 characters and 1000 characters respectively. In the third volume, the learner will reach the 1300 character level. Furthermore, technical terms related to industry and commerce are coverd as well as common vernacular and some specialized terminology. This set of books is meant to be used for standard Chinese courses and along with the included CD can also be used for self-study. The course contents include the following: learning Objectives,Common Phrases, Dialogue, Vocabulary, Topic-Oriented Vocabulary, Vocabulary Exercises, Specialized Terms/Practical Vocabulary, Sentence Patterns, Listening Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, How Would You Say It, Business- Culture Knowledge Trove, etc. The vocabulary in this course was chosen for its usefulness in both the People' republic of China and in Taiwan, withemphasis on usage in the PRC, in order to achieve effective business communication and interaction.
