Author Description

This book gives voice to the Catholic Sisters who are transforming and enriching the lives of the Church and their communities on education, health care, and social development among the many nations of Africa. The book is the fruit of a long collaboration that began in November 2015 with an initial conversation between the African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC) and the Centre for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) [located in Nairobi, Kenya). The research projects and reports of ASEC, CARA, and the Centre for Research in Religious Life and Apostolate (CERRA-Africa) are significant resources in understanding the impact of the Catholic Sisters in Africa. --
