A light-hearted-brief guide for anyone new to the game of golf--from an amateur’s point of view. Examples of subjects discussed: wardrobe breakdown; clarification on a few of the rules of golf; course and game terminology heard on television; social customs on and off the course; and how to a take golf lesson. A guide that a teaching professional, let alone, a touring professional, would not write. Sharing my 40-years of weekend golf experience that may help folks starting out.
