Why Pray? That's a terrific question! So why do we Pray? Let's explore that Together in this book! The author is a Christ-following Bible student & teacher, and a retired Army Ranger-trained Paratrooper, Battalion/Brigade Commander, Systems Engineer, and Business Founder who wants to share some basic insights on what he and others have learned about Praying. Those who read this will gain a refreshed insight into this most high privilege of communicating with the God who made us, sustains us, redeems us, teaches us, and Who wants us to know Him much better. But right up front I must say that this Study is only going to be meaningful to those who already know our great God by having repented and asked forgiveness of their sins, and asked Jesus, the son of God (who died to pay the penalty for those sins and rose again) to be their Savior and Lord. Not there yet? Then stop now and Surrender to Him! Not sure? Then think on this from an Old Country Church's roadside signboard in the mountains of North Georgia: Eternity. Your Choice! Smoking or Non-smoking? My most profound objective for you in this study is to rekindle your desire to spend more meaningful daily time with your Great and Mighty God by Praying - by communicating with Him! You will find yourself becoming victorious over those things that separate you from Him. I will try to stir your heart with His Love to the great power of believing Praying - to renew (or establish) a vibrant relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. And, yes, by so doing you will indeed bring to Him glory and to you His Peace and Joy. You will then continue on to enjoy Him more deeply all your life. A secondary objective is to prepare you to teach others so they, too, can have a victorious life in Christ. Praying is the Seventh Part of the Armor of God for a Christian Soldier! Ephesians 6:10-18
