After retiring as a hospital chaplain in Amsterdam, the author decided to investigate a problem he had often encountered in his practice - the question of why churches and mosques are hostile to homosexuality. After ten years of study and gathering sources, he came to a conclusion that it is quite possible to find arguments that could lead to a positive outlook and acceptance. He wants to bring this book to everyone's attention. His choice is thereby fallen to the dialogue as a conversational form. Hopefully, this book contains enough readable information for all the readers. Ton Smits (1927) was born in Rotterdam. He took the teaching exam in 1951. At the age of 42, he decided to study theology. He was a religion teacher at a school for VWO/HAVO. He chose the ministry in a hospital where he came into contact with people who had problems with their homosexuality. He retired at age and decided thereafter to do further research.
