The book is primarily a photographic work, each of the courses 18 holes given 4 pages, with 2 images, a rendering of each hole, and a commentary of do's and don'ts, and how to strategize the play. The text explores the history of the area, the history of the NCGA, the evolution of golf course architecture, the Tournaments of the NCGA and a description of the golf course itself.
