Author Description

The worldwide realization of human rights is not only a Government's responsibility anymore. In modern society, multinational enterprises, non-governmental organizations, trade unions and employers' organizations play a (sometimes conflicting) role in this field as well. The interdependency and interrelationship between these actors is the subject of the present book. The book is the result of a seminar, in 1999 organized by GLOBUS, Institute for Globalization and Sustainable Development at Tilburg University, and the Dutch Research School of Human Rights.
