After Japanese Americans were released from the internment camps following World War II, they struggled to find a place to call their home. This book outlines the challenges and successes that the founders of the San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center faced through the use of interviews, archived photos, eye witness accounts, and the accounts and the help of current officers and member of the SFVJACC.
