The concept of 'neo-Asian' has been applied mostly in cultural and economical fields, but recently it is reflected more and more in architecture. In this regard 'neo-Asian' mainly refers to architects' recognition of contemporary architectural design influenced by traditional culture. This volume brings together more than 40 residential developments from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, China, United Arab Emirates, and Cyprus - each of which showcases the integration of traditional and contemporary design practices.
