
Local school teams (LST) are multidisciplinary teams for the assessment of students' learning problems, the development of plans for intervention, and the monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions. This report presents the results of a survey of Toronto Board schools on local school teams. The survey sought information about: 1) the composition and functions of local school teams, 2) the characteristics of students referred to the team, 3) team members' experiences with their team, and 4) the evaluation of the team and the personal importance attributed to 1st goals.
