Author Description

This Yearbook's primary goal is to demonstrate how far the international community has come in solving specific environmental and developmental problems. It also aims to show what obstacles still exist in this regard, and what needs to be done to overcome such barriers. The book considers boththe achievements and the shortcomings of the worldwide effort to address these problems, enabling readers to distinguish for themselves between the reality and the rhetoric of global environmental politics.
